  2. Alejandro garcia I got this because I have a cat with separation anxiety and I knew there would be potty problems after moving. With brand new carpet, I wanted to be sure to find spots quickly. I tested it in the litter box when it arrived, and it worked great. Unfortunately it only shows cat urine on selective surfaces, but doesn’t work on my carpet (wet or dry), including areas I know for a fact have cat urine on them (there’s no mistaking that smell!).
