I bought this item because I have 4 cats and many arguments among my family members how frequently the cats urinate outside the litter boxes. I think that I am the best qualified person to make this determination, but this black light flashlight let me down. Even when I pointed it at spaces on the floor, and in some cases up the walls where I had literally seen cats toileting themselves, the flashlight often failed to reflect the indiscretion.
