3. Please make sure the positive and negative terminals of the batteries match the ” + ” and ” – ” markings on the battery holder. Also, make sure you insert the battery holder correctly: there is a black arrow on the black plastic side of the battery holder, which point in the direction you should put it into the flashlight.
